ICYS 2024

Students from Georgian-American High School and Georgian-American School returned from the international conference of young scientists with gold and silver medals.

 

On April 21-26, 2024, the 30th International Conference of Young Scientists was held in the Turkish city of Izmir. The event was attended by 157 young people from 27 countries. Among them were students from GAHS and GAS.

 

Talented Georgian youth won gold and silver medals in STEM and mathematics, and silver in physics, and three silver and three bronze medals in posters.

The International Conference of Young Scientists (ICYS), which is the best platform for schoolchildren to present projects and research in the fields of mathematics, physics, computer science, and STEM, has been held annually in different countries since 1993. Georgia has been participating in the above-mentioned conference since 2002 and consistently takes prizes.
