GEORGIAN-AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL
Presentation of the book, “Playing the Thinking” and the exhibition of the works of Lizi Budaghashvili, a 13 years old student of Georgian-American High School was held in the Spiritual and Intellectual Development Center at Trinity Cathedral conference hall on April 24, 2013. This event was a charity event organized by the charity fund, “Imedis Kheli”. Honor guests, poets, writers and painters attended the event. The income generated by the sale of the books was fully deposited to the charity fund. The fund helps the children and the youth suffering from hard diseases.
Lizi expressed her kind wish by doing so.
In her address, Lizi thanked all three schools that she mentioned she has been receiving the spiritual support from: Georgian-American High School, Gifted Musical School and Art School. She noted that this book includes all her art. She considers that the age of 13 is a break-even point for her in some way and the poems that she will create from now on will be somehow different from her previous work. Little poet expressed her gratitude to the fortune that the very place of presentation of her works is the sacred walls of the Trinity Cathedral.
Lizis works in oil painting were especially favored.
“God is the creator of the universe, and each of us gives the life to the colors of the universe by our words, paint, melodies. Evaluate how I have given life to colors; The cover of the book is my design. I chose the swing here; I wanted to say that life is a swing, which swings around and we all are attached to the seats by the chains, rising up and down. The thoughts that come up to us during the swing tend to play with us. These are the thoughts that I placed in this boot and I called the book: “Playing the Thinking”.
